Debbie Marasco

Debbie is an experienced and passionate mountain biking coach with over 20 years of riding experience. As a founding member of the Dirt Chix, Debbie has been an integral part of the mountain biking community for 17 years and has volunteered countless hours hosting rides and coaching fellow riders.
Debbie's dedication to the sport is evident in her training and certifications. She holds a Level 1 Mountain Bike Instructor's Course certification as well as Emergency First Aid CPR/EAD certification, ensuring that her coaching is safe and effective.
Over the past 3 years, Debbie has volunteered her time coaching with Spoke Skills and Chills, and in 2022 she worked as a mountain bike instructor for the City of Kamloops, coaching both women and men at beginner and intermediate levels. In addition, she coached 7-10 year olds with DMB Mountain Biking and worked as a group leader for summer children's programs with Pacific Sport. She currently volunteers as a ride leader with the Shifted Sisters mountain bike group and coaches with Tera Meade doing private lessons.
Debbie's coaching style is supportive, enthusiastic, and adaptable. She believes in helping riders build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a love for the sport. Whether you're a beginner or intermediate rider, Debbie has the knowledge and expertise to help you take your mountain biking to the next level.
